I was 3 when my dad took me trackside to see my first freight train in Pont-Rouge, QC (on CP's Trois-Rivières subdivision), where my family lived at the time. However, I only got into the railfanning hobby in 2010, when I bought my first DSLR. That was also right around the time I met my wife, Jo-Annie, whose veterinary training took us from Saint-Hyacinthe, QC to Calgary, AB and Ithaca, NY. I now live in Montréal, QC with her and our cat, Ketamine. Over the years, I have made many friends and have explored the railroads of 8 Canadian provinces and 8 US states. When I'm not foaming, I enjoy model railroading and bass guitar. I've worked as a translator since 2010.
